Presenters and attendees come here from around the world and every province in Canada, to learn, share and connect with other writers.
Every October we fill the Sheraton Guildford Hotel in Surrey, BC with around 700 industry people.
Attendees, presenters, volunteers, staff and conference committee members converge to put on an intense weekend of workshops, panels, banquets and special events focused entirely on professional development for writers.
It's a place to meet old friends, to make new contacts, and to acquire the tools to become a published writer.
The conference runs as a not-for-profit society by a volunteer Board of Directors and less than a handful of staff.
Our goal is to inspire, educate and motivate aspiring and experienced writers alike.
